Upcoming Events

We are an independent press based out of Martinez, Georgia. We have published twelve titles since 2002 and are pleased to be positioned to announce more releases this year.

P.R.A. Publishing began as a grassroots program to promote the the beauty and power of poetry. Founder/poet Lucinda Clark began with the idea of showcasing poets in an annual celebration which is now celebrating its tenth year. We are also proud to note that we have published a number of award winning titles in the last few years.

Echoes in Exile was selected as one of the Indies Excellence Award winners for Social Change in 2008. It was also recognized as a finalist in the Best Book Awards for the same year. Our View from the Middle of the Road series has also been a finalist for for Best Book Awards for several years. We are also the publisher for six Pushcart Prize nominees including Deanna Shapiro, Sheema Kalbasi and Daniel Y. Harris.

This year we nominated Daniel Y. Harris, Pete Klimek, C.D. Ponder and X. Clark for this most important literary prize.

Our goal is simple. To give an amplified platform to the best literary voices we encounter. One way we do this with our annual poetry contest which is now in its tenth year. www.poetrymatterscelebration.com.
